Sara Terry -- Casa de Rosas
I had the good fortune to discover Casa de Rosas while shooting unit stills for a film by a USC grad student. It's one of the craziest sites I've ever encountered in Los Angeles, and not a lot of people know that it's there. It's an abandoned complex taken over by the city of L.A., which now rents it out for film shoots -- but it used to be a women's prep academy, some kind of WW II depot, the headquarters of Scientology, a woman's shelter and I don't know what else.
Edition of 50, signed and numbered, $20 each plus shipping. Purchase information under "Purchase Book" link to the left. See more of my unit photography here.
